AvantForm co-founder, Joey Camacho, also known by his artist name, Raw & Rendered, is a tech-centric design focused visual communicator. He was the originator of the hashtag #ProgressBeforePerfection and has been a passionate contributor and advocate in the Everyday Series, which began in 2014, now in its eighth consecutive year. His first hand experience led to founding AvantForm, a platform focused on the specialized needs, support and representation of digital artists to ensure financial viability and sustainability in their careers through the last decade’s many twists and turns in valuation. His clients include Apple, Microsoft, Nike, Adobe, and Under Armour and his unique perspective has been a featured voice in Vice, Colossal, Abduzeedo and Motiongrapher.
Ever since founding artist, Joey Camacho, first licensed work from his personal explorations, he’s been on a mission to find passive ways to make a living as a digital creator.Understanding the power and value of digital art, he wasn’t thrilled by traditional stock photography sites. There wasn’t a place that catered specifically to premium CGI and professional digital artists.He spent too much time navigating licensing agreements with both large global clients and small agencies – only to be frustrated with complex protocols, more paperwork and sluggish payouts. After gathering feedback from fellow artists and reputable clients, he set out to create a solution dedicated to the world of digital art.
